A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio - more fog & boats!

The fog eventually began
to break up a bit at the
surface of the water.

But up where the pelicans
were flying, it was still very thick
I wonder how they see
where to fly in
the fog!

A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio - more fog & boats!

We finally have a bit of sun this weekend
after days and weeks of rain!

This photo is a reminder
of how the weather changes
we have inland can play
out on the coast - fog!

A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio -
a departure from the Garden photos!

The fog was lovely
on the island the day
these pictures were taken.

Here are some brave souls
taking a sailing lesson
in the midst of the fog!

A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio -
a departure from the Garden photos!

On the island looking for
abstract boat images,
but the fog rolled in and
this was one of the
wonderful images
I brought home.

Clear Lake, Texas. It used to be really clear, so I hear from a man who used to run a boat cleaning business. Sadly his shop and the marina itself has closed do to the Hurricane a while back. However this marina right next door is still around. My dad used to own a 22 footer and one day we had to haul her out and clean the bottom as barnacles were all on the bottom. Talk about messy and a hard days work.

Frame Example
King of Frame: Arroyo Gold

The Summer Solstice, when the sun is directly over the Tropic of Cancer in the Northern Hemisphere, except this is a night time scene which means the Sun wasn't around, lit by the moon. That brings up the topic Astronomy, when's the last time you took a scope out to look at the stars? I started learning a little about the stars a while back, interesting for sure and fun to figure out where they are and what there names are.
