This was taken at the 
Zilker Botanical Garden in Austin.

They have a wonderful
Japanese garden there
I love to visit!

The Koi are well fed by visitors
so they come right up
to the edge of the pond.

This one was busy feeding.

koi swim casually / around the shallow pond / red and white against a breakfast of green

Winning at the Woodlands Art League (WAL) Spring Show!

I won third place and first place honorable mention in the Professional Photographer division at the Woodlands Art League (WAL) Spring Show.

This qualifies another image for the regional LSAG show in June!

American Association of University Women (AAUW)
art competition.
Of 150 entries, 50 were selected to be voted
on by the AAUW members across the US.
