This was fun and challenging painting this little lady in my palette of colors. 

 

Ben Konis (wonderful artist from Amarillo, Texas) always said, "if the value is right, the color is right".  I never painted another tree trunk brown.

Gathering under the trees on a hot day in the Texas heat. The brown cow just so happened to be the only brown one around. Kind of the odd one out of the bunch.
