Jump-Start

Contemporary Abstract Painting

I was in a blue mood....I pulled out my blues in tubes and oil sticks and made a sample color chart. Then I picked the blues I thought would be great on this canvas, and mixed a lot of them. Here is pic of the blue hues that I had at the studio....probably more than I really need. But after years of painting, I have collected some great blues. Probably my top three colors are:

1 Richeson Ice Blue
2 Classic Cobalt
3 Charvin Linen Flower

Dragon flies are such interesting creatures!

I love how they can

hover and maneuver so easily.

They may not be the prettiest

in the gardens, but they

are helping me out by

eating those biting insects!
