paint has been energetically applied to the canvas. Areas have been
scratched out to reveal under layers of contrasting color. The painting

framing is not necessary.

canvas is inspired by scenes of a forest at the very start of fall, when
leaves have dropped and winter is just around the corner.
Only the finest professional acrylic
paints and mediums were used in the creation of this painting. The
textured canvas has been sealed with a semi-gloss acrylic varnish to
protect it from dust and UV rays. The painting wraps around the sides
and does not need to be framed. It is wired and ready to hang.

This original abstract painting on 140lb
watercolor paper was created by layering many glazes of acrylic paint
over a textured surface. Scrubbing and scraping out areas of color
creates subtle textural passages and reveals "what lays beneath". This
painting was inspired by the marsh landscapes seen near Merritt Island
in Florida.
The painting is bordered by 2" of white watercolor paper. It is ready to be matted and framed or simply "floated"
to show the deckle on all four sides.
