Contemporary Abstract
"Crowd Pleaser" is signed, and drying at the studio...Starting this painting with transparent washes, I had a couple of ideas in mind for this rather large canvas. I have been wanting to paint a large floral landscape, then I thought it was about time to paint some roosters. In the end, a very abstract floral landscape appears...but one very different from what I was working on in the beginning.
My husband, John said that it looks like a crowd of people, and along with the pleasant colors I used, he suggested the title. I am alway open to suggestions when it comes to naming my canvases...and I thought he nailed it. "Crowd Pleaser" works for me!
