A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio, In The Garden series.

I just love lilies!
Mercer has a lot of variety
that are showing their
pretty faces in the early summer.

A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio, In The Garden series.

These sunflowers were just
wonderful last weekend!

They were great standing
against the sky as well
as close ups of the details
of their petals and centers.

This little fellow
 was out and about
on the Arboretum side
of
Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens.

Almost missed him in
the mix of leaves and pine needles!

A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio, In The Garden series.

I love how the morning light
catches the spider webs
on the petals of
the flowers.

And a bonus of
morning dew!

A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio, In The Garden series.

This is from the Arboretum
side of Mercer.

They have wonderful
trails through the woods
with boardwalks and bogs.

The light was so great that morning
coming through the trees.

There were a number

For some reason,
these caught my eye
more than ever before!

A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio, In The Garden series.

It has been a while since
I posted to this series.

Went out last weekend with
my Miksang Photography group
and shot around Mercer Arboretum.

All kinds of wonderful
things were there to
be seen and photographed!

Red tones are always
a challenge for me,
but this one came
out nicely!

Being a kid? Priceless. Imagine for the first time in your life seeing the surf, or how about those eeky looking creatures with claws that scurry around near shore?
