For some reason I kind of like poems lately. In college I studied John Keats as part of studying poetry in one of the English Lit courses. I wasn't in to poetry but I did find it interesting to study then and learning about who Keats was. I do remember one thing, he died very young do to an illness.
The Watcher
by Randall Cogburn
Thirty seconds pass
A presence is near.
It knows no boundary
To human folk but
A glimmering fear
Not, or who
They may call
Says who under
The Oak on a
Cold winters day.
If around
No questions where?
Doubt for not
The Watcher
Is there.
